Family Counseling Center helps
raise awareness about opioid misuse
and overdose in Hardin County

Hardin County Opioid Response Program Coalition presents "Be the One" Communication CampaignFamily Counseling Center is working with the Hardin County Opioid Response Program (HCORP) to increase awareness for those at risk for prescription opioid misuse and overdose.

HCORP’s “Be the One” campaign seeks to empower adults of all ages to be the one to:

  • Increase knowledge about how opioid use occurs/happens, and
  • Increase help-seeking behaviors and emotional well-being practices.

Over the course of 11 months, the campaign will release 5 distinct messages that include a series of testimonial videos and resources to help Hardin County residents make informed decisions regarding opioid use and misuse. These messages will be distributed through printed materials, a campaign website, the Hardin County Independent, and a strong social media presence.
